Armis Tech Net (armistechnet.com) is operated by Armis RV Guardian LLC (“Armis,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through Armis Tech Net, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
From technicians and RV service shops
- Name, business name, email address, mobile number, mailing address and billing contact
- A photo used to confirm your identity to clients
- Certification and training records
- Your service area and location, including updated locations if you travel
- Job activity, installation photos, client ratings and dispute records
From RV owners
- Name, email address and phone number
- Where your RV is located and when you plan to leave
- Details of your ARMIS RV Guardian purchase and installation, including installation photos
- Product and service ratings, comments and warranty registration details
Automatically
Basic technical information such as browser type, pages visited and IP address, and the time and location data stored in installation photos.
How we use information
- To match RV owners with certified technicians and send job alerts
- To confirm installations, register warranties and collect ratings
- To maintain technician quality standards, scores and badges, and to resolve disputes
- To send service messages by email and, if you opt in, by text
- To protect the security of the service and meet legal obligations
How we share information
- Between clients and technicians. When a technician accepts a job, we share the client’s name, contact details and RV location with that technician. We share the technician’s name, photo and qualifications with the client.
- With service providers who host the service and send email and text messages on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of the information.
- For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information.
Text messages
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text message opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties. See our SMS Terms.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed for warranty, dispute and legal purposes.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts.
- Contact us to access, correct or delete your information, subject to records we must keep.
Children
Armis Tech Net is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
